SIFF Announces Golden Space Needle and Jury Award Winners

IT'S A WRAP!

Seattle, WA-June 15, 2003-Concluding its 25-day run, the 29th Annual Seattle International Film Festival today announced the Golden Space Needle and Jury Award winners for this year's festival. The Golden Space Needle Audience Awards had over 70,000 ballots cast in six different categories-including Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Documentary and Best Short Film-and were selected from over 220 feature films from more than 40 different countries. Also presented were the 29th Annual Seattle International Film Festival's juried awards: The New American Cinema Award, The New Director's Showcase Award, the Asian Tradewinds Award and the inaugural First Person Singular Documentary Award.

The festival will officially close this evening with a screening of Danielle Thompson's Jet Lag, followed by the Festival's Closing Night Gal
